Jeffry Allen Nixon (born October 13, 1956 in Fürstenfeldbruck, Germany) is a former professional American football player for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League. Born in Germany, Nixon spent his high school days in Virginia, attending Gar-Field Senior High School. He played college football at the University of Richmond from 1975-1978, where he was an All-American during his last three years. Jeff recorded 23 interceptions and is currently 7th All-Time in NCAA Division I history. He played for the Bills from 1979-1984 until a career-ending knee injury. Jeff led the team with 6 interceptions in his rookie year. In 1980 he was Sports Illustrated Defensive Player of the Month for September.
He currently serves as head of the Buffalo Bills Alumni and is a frequent guest on WKBW-TV's AM Buffalo. He is also the Youth Employment Director for the City of Buffalo.
