Jeff Gillooly

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jeff Gillooly (now Jeff Stone) is the ex-husband of former ice skating star Tonya Harding. He is best known for being found guilty of conspiring with Shawn Eckardt in hiring Shane Stant to attack rival skater Nancy Kerrigan. Gillooly and Harding married in 1990 and divorced in 1993.

On July 14, 1994, he was sentenced to two years in prison. After his release, he and the two other conspirators publicly severed all ties with Harding.

In Harding's 2008 book The Tonya Tapes she alleges that he and two other men gang raped her at gunpoint then said "you're not going to be here anymore" if she revealed what she knew about the Kerrigan attack. Stone called the allegations "utterly ridiculous".[1]
