A photo of Richard Jefferies in 1872, taken from Edward Thomas, Richard Jefferies (1909) on the Internet Archive. Presumably whoever took the photo should have been dead 70 years ago by now, so that the picture should be out of copyright in Europe too. The quality is very poor. So I only put a small image up. If I can make a better scan myself, I'll replace it.
