Jedediah Chapman

Jedediah Chapman (d. July 2, 1863) was an American Civil War officer in the Union Army.
Chapman served as a captain in the 27th Connecticut Volunteer Infantry, and was killed in the Wheatfield at the Battle of Gettysburg. Today, there is a marker in the Gettysburg National Military Park approximating where he fell. He is interred in the Grove Street Cemetery, New Haven, Connecticut.
