[edit] New proposed infobox writer template

This is a proposal for changing the template infobox writer.

Since I cleaned up the code I also read the talk page and made some changes as described below.

[edit] Fix image parameter coding

Made fix to image coding, where some articles would break. Set the default size to 150px so that default image size fits within the infobox without overpowering it.

[edit] New parameter

awards The purpose of this parameter is to be able to add notable awards the writer has won in to the infobox.

It is placed in between debutworks and spouse parameters.

[edit] Change parameters underscore names

Note that the old parameters have been preserved for backward compatibility. Either the new parameter or the old parameter will work. This prevents any current articles using the infobox to still function properly. The reason to change is to eliminate the underscore in the parameters name.

Change parameter name relations to relatives. Note that the old parameter has been preserved for backward compatibility. Either the new parameter (relatives) or the old parameter (relations) will work. This prevents any current articles using the infobox to still function properly. The reason is to make the parameter name actually mean what it is really for.

[edit] Format changes to the infobox

[edit] Colorization of the header

First colorization of the header of the infobox. If the writer is alive the color is green with white text. If deathdate (or death_date) parameter is used then the header will automatically be changed to silver with black text. This is the same as used with the other similar infoboxs on wikipedia. The color of darkolivegreen makes it look more notable then just a plain white background.

If an image is displayed a separator line will be displayed beneath the image or image caption (if there is one).

On both influences an influenced parameters will now be hidden but can be shown by clickinf on the show.

If a signature image is displayed a separator line will be displayed above the signature image.

[edit] Reformat website parameter

Adding a horizontal line if website parameter is used.

Column span and center align the website. Adding Official Website descriptor.

Adding this to the infobox:

Very few articles used this parameter. Information should be placed into the article.
