A question from User:Varlaam - "How did the pilot of the 1529 expedition publish in 1931?".

Well the trip from France to Sumatra seems to have taken 7 months, so they may have returned back to France around July 1930, which gives him plenty of time to publish Jean's poetry in 1931, particularly if he had spent time on the trip collating the material already in his possession.
