[edit] Factual dispute

The following is a translation of text posted by User:84.155.78.7 (13:39, 12 June 2006)[[1]] on the article's page:

Jean Belet and Jean de Vifnay are two different persons. The former was a theologian who lived in the XIIth century and so could not have translated the Golden Legend. The translation dates from 1333–1348 and was made by the latter.

Per comments in Wikipedia:Pages_needing_translation_into_English, I have moved it here. There are no citations given either way. Jay Uv. 23:50, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
