Jean Twenge

Jean M. Twenge is an Associate Professor of psychology at San Diego State University. She has published numerous journal articles on generational differences, self-esteem, and social rejection and is the author of the book Generation Me (Free Press, 2006). She earned a B.A. and M.A. from the University of Chicago in 1993 and a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in 1998. Her research has been featured in USA Today, Newsweek, the Washington Post, and in numerous magazines, and she has appeared on the Today show, Dateline, and the NBC Nightly News. Her February 2007 study on generational shifts in narcissism was covered by the Associated Press Link to AP story.
