Hi. Please don't add that link into country articles such as Thailand and Cambodia, it appears to be scarcely notable enough for articles of such magnitude, and therefore counts as self-promotion, which is not permitted. Thanks in advance. El_C 00:15, 6 September 2005 (UTC)

Hi. Sorry you personally feel that, EL_C. However the link in question provides valuable information to anyone thinking of visiting the relevant regions. Out of curiosity, what sort of 'magnitude' ought a site achieve before link inclusion reaches 'useful addition' status in your eyes? Are not such terms purely subjective ones? - Jdv.

Hello. I'm sorry to inform you but it isn't a personal feeling so much as an administrative decision, though I remain open to persasuion. We do, in fact, have objective standards (see: Wikipedia:External links) for such estimations. Significantly, the fact that there is advertisement on the site makes it highly unlikely that it will be kept, esp. in such key articles. For country articles, we seek links hosted by governments, international bodies, educational institutes, etc. In short, encycnlopedic external links: reliable, notable, and authoritative. Thanks for reading. El_C 09:47, 6 September 2005 (UTC)

Hi. Understood - we wouldn't want to pollute the people-edited encyclopedia with the common person! Thanks for your reply.

That mischaractrizes my position and my interpertation of the pertinent policy and guidelines here, which you are of course free to challenge. El_C 05:01, 7 September 2005 (UTC)
