[edit] Welcome
Hello and welcome to wikipedia. I noticed that you recently created the page List of Memebers of the Order of the British Empire and I thought you should know that a page, List of celebrities who have been awarded the Order of the British Empire already exists that has the exact same content of the new article. It would probably be best to redirect the new page to the existing one as the existing one is more extensive and it doesn't make sense to have two lists with the exact same content. Happy Editing! Please don't copy articles wholesale to create duplicate articles, as you did with Polar Bear. There was a valid redirect that transferred readers to the correct place that I have reinstated. Canthusus (talk) 09:44, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Typo redirect LOCWHBATOOTBE
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on LOCWHBATOOTBE, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because LOCWHBATOOTBE is a redirect page resulting from an implausible typo (CSD R3).
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting LOCWHBATOOTBE, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. [edit] 50 Greatest Comedy Catchphrases
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of 50 Greatest Comedy Catchphrases, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.channel4.com/entertainment/tv/microsites/C/comedy_catchphrases/nominations/a.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 13:44, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] 50 Greatest Comedy Catchphrases
Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article 50 Greatest Comedy Catchphrases, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. [edit] Noughts & Crosses
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently copied the contents of a page and pasted it into another with a different name. Specifically, you copied the contents of Noughts & Crosses series and pasted it into Noughts & Crosses Trilogy. This is what we call a "cut and paste move", and it is very undesirable because it splits the article's history, which is needed for attribution and is helpful in many other ways. The mechanism we use for renaming an article is to move it to a new name which both preserves the page's history and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. In most cases, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. If there is an article that you cannot move yourself by this process, follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Requested moves to request the move by another. Also, if there are any other articles that you copied and pasted, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. -- KittyRainbow (talk) 15:30, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
