JD & The Straight Shot is blues band from New York featuring legendary New Yorker Jim Dolan on vocals.
For two summers in a row, JD & The Straight Shot performed as special guests on Eagles member Joe Walsh's North American Tours which featured Walsh's original band, The James Gang.
In 2008, they will release their new album, Right On Time, featuring Grammy Award winners Joe Walsh and Robert Randolph and produced by Grammy Award winner John Porter.
