Misleading, non-factual information on subjects of special interest caused me to join so that I could correct the errors and provide information readers would find informative.
Wikipedia seemed to be developing a reputation as a source of information not to be trusted. I want to help remedy this.
My first effort is to correct the blatant errors in the section on minibikes, which can be found under the major category of Motorcycles. It is misleading, incomplete, inaccurate, and should be a sub-category all its own, at the same level as Mopeds.
I've been around mini-bikes for a long time. I have a large, well-documented web site dedicated to mini-bikes and their history. It could be the largest, most authoritative site on the net about minibikes. I also manage the only two webrings that exist on the subject. Plus, I do have documented facts that will correct the errors and dispel the myths surrounding the minibike and its sub-classes.
These little motorcycles are historically significant. My goal is to correct and improve the information Wikipedia freely provides.
