[edit] Ediacarans
Hi, welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for your recent improvements to the Ediacara biota article. I noticed you'd removed reference to molecular data suggesting an early diversification of the metazoa: I guess it was somewhat out of context where it was, but I do feel it's an important point that should be made somewhere in the article. I thought I'd better check whether molecules (and interpretation of trace fossils as bilaterians') spoke as strongly in support of a "long fuse" to the Cambrian explosion as I'd been led to believe?
Also, if you can be tempted, I noticed that the Charnia article is looking a little unloved...
Thanks again, and all the best!

- Thanks for the update, that's very interesting. I've corrected the caption on the Charnia page; if you're interested, the code for the image can be found in the "taxobox" template (see the edit history for the relevant code). You need to use the "edit this page" tab at the top of the screen to get at it, rather than the section links. I look forwards to seeing your edits! (let me know if there's any other bits of wiki syntax you need a hand untangling, the code can be quite involved in places!)
