[edit] February 2008
Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to JazzVision. While objective prose about products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Thank you. Tony Fox (arf!) 06:05, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to add promotional material to Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. JuJube (talk) 06:06, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
These pages have been rewritten. Thanks, Jazzcorner (talk) 06:14, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
- Please don't remove speedy deletion tags from pages you have created. If you have proof that the site is notable under the guidelines I indicated above, please provide said proof on the article talk page in the form of links to stories about the business or similar references. Thanks. Tony Fox (arf!) 06:23, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Jazz_corner_logo.gif)
Thanks for uploading Image:Jazz_corner_logo.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 07:26, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Jazzvision.jpg
I have tagged Image:Jazzvision.jpg as {{orphaned fairuse}}. In order for the image to be kept at Wikipedia, it must be included in at least one article. If this image is being used as a link target instead of displayed inline, please add {{not orphan}} to the image description page to prevent it being accidentally marked as orphaned again. [edit] spam and conflict of interest rules
Inserting external links to a website with which you are affiliated is considered a conflict of interest, and is also considered to be spamming (a form of vandalism). See WP:COI and WP:SPAM for policies and guidelines. Also see WP:Welcome and WP:MOS for more information and guidelines on what constitutes a productive edit. - Special-T (talk) 12:15, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
