[edit] Speedy hangon

Unencyclopedic tone and parallel to another article are not speedy criteria. If they were, few articles would make it off the ground. --TeaDrinker 00:05, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

I think that this page should be updated and expanded. Jazz improvisation is much more complex and intricate than improvisation in rock, classical, folk, and most other styles.

The page is sloppy but I learned a lot from it - don't throw out the baby with the bath water, please. Rag47 (talk) 07:07, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

Regarding the merger with musical improvisation, I feel that jazz improv merits its own article-- this one just needs some cleaning up and fleshing out. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Phinny (talk • contribs) 07:24, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
