Jay Wilkerson was born August 8, 1971, in Pittsburgh, PA. The son of Marcus and Diana Wilkerson, he grew up in a relatively poor neighborhood called the Hills District. He has three siblings: Donald, Rachael, and a younger brother named Irvin.

Jay was notorious for his Prince "fanship" belonging to both prince.org and 3121.com.

Jay resides alone in Darlington, S.C.
