Jaynez is known as the first Native American Urban R&B singer[citation needed] and has won numerous music awards[1] to include the "Best Debut Artist of the Year" in the 7th Annual NAMMYS[2]. Jaynez has also been nominated in the 9th Annual Native American Music Awards[2]
