Jayco Crystal Mile

The Jayco Crystal Mile is a Group 2 Australian thoroughbred horse race held under open handicap conditions for horses aged 3 years old and over, over a distance of 1600m.

It is held at Moonee Valley Racecourse in Melbourne.

1982 – 1985 was a Listed Race
1986 – 1996 was a Group 3
1997 onwards Group 2

1982 - 2006 the race was known as the ‘Waterford Crystal Mile’
2007 onwards the race has been called the ‘Jayco Crystal Mile’
