[edit] Published Works
Fenster's most recent book is Open Road's Best of Las Vegas] (ISBN 1593600836), co-authored by gambling guru Avery Cardoza and published in December 2006. This book provides itineraries of varying lengths for travelers seeking specific types of vacation experiences, such as a couples' getaway, a family vacation or a vintage Vegas experience.
Fenster is a pioneer of the targeted "Best Of" travel writing format that closely aligns travel recommendations with the amount of time that people have to spend in a destination, and the exact outcome they want from a trip. This approach is compared to the typical encyclopedic "lists of lists" format that includes tons of information but no real guidance.
His next book, Open Road's Best of Orlando, is scheduled for a late 2008 release, and will provide a similarly targeted approach to that destination.
Fenster is also the author of Walt Disney World Guide, Disney World and Orlando Theme Parks, and Disney World With Kids.
He also maintains Open Road's Best of Las Vegas Blog.
