Javad Hadian

Javad Hadian is an American entrepreneur and business man. He opened up Shangy's in 1980. Shortly after he became a beer distributor, having distribution rights to thousands of macros and micro brews. He continued to broadly expand his range of beers, and soon Shangy's was a well known store for beer enthusiasts. In 1998 Shangy's became the distributor of Hoegaarden a popular Belgian beer. The agreement entitled Shangy's to distribution rights to 17 Pennsylvania counties. In 2004 Hadian sued InBev, the worlds largest beer producer, for allegedly violating the 1998 agreement.

Javad Hadian married Mansooreh Hadian, before coming to America. He had 3 children, Navid, Nima, and Neda. He bought a home in Allentown, Pennsylvania. When his business in Emmaus started to boom he started building another home in Orefield, Pennsylvania. He now lives at the completed house at Apple Valley Estates in Orefield. His son Nima, now the co-owner of Shangy's, takes care of the day to day operations of running the business.
