Jatiyo Rakkhi Bahini

The Jatiyo Rakkhi Bahini was a political militia loyal to Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the founding leader of Bangladesh. Formed in 1975, to recover the arms from Civilians that was obtained during the time of Bangladesh War in 1971. The organisation was merged with Bangladesh Army after the assassination of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on August 15, 1975.
