My name is Dan. Aka Jasper Klybek. I was born in 1962 on the same day that the Spiegel scandal occured. After I completed my California High School Proficiency Exam (CHSPE) I joined the United States Naval Reserve (USNR) as an Aviation Maintenance Administrationman. While serving in the USNR I met a civilian who had an Apple II. I was absolutely intrigued by it and my life has been forever changed by that encounter. I purchased a Intel 80486SX shortly after seeing the Apple II and have been involved in Information Technology (IT) ever since.
Jasper Klybek is a screenname I chose for myself in 1989 while living in the greater Kansas City Metropolitan Area. At that time I was very active on local community BBSes. I have kept the screenname over the years because its syllables are pleasing to me for some reason I can't quite put my finger on and also OU812 always seems to be taken.
I currently have an Associate of Arts in Administration (business) (AABA) and a Bachelor of Information Technology in the area of Network Administrator. (BIT: Network Administration)

I use Microsoft SQL Server, Visual Basic .NET, Visual Studio, ADO.NET, SQL, Microsoft Access, Oracle RDBMS , and am famliar with a wide variety of operating systems and Network operating system's. I have designed and implemented networks that range in size from the small Local Area Network (LAN) to a 15,000 user Metropolitan area network (MAN). In a addition to computer networks I am familiar with Hybrid fibre-coaxial networks and have experience splicing Optical fiber and installing Optical amplifier's. I have a general understanding of Radio frequency (RF).
When I'm not setting behind a keyboard somewhere I enjoy outdoor activites such as camping, water skiing, canoeing, snowboarding & fishing; which should not be confused with phishing. ( I am a White Hat. I have always been and will always be a White Hat.)
