Talk:Jason Knirck
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This person is notable, and has produced well received books, he is on the same academic level as Thomas Wellock, who has a credible and notable wiki article. STOP adding the notability tag. Thanks.
- I don't bear this page any ill will, I have several times removed vandalism from it. Also, the original notability tag I added was removed without discussion. I'll paste my comment note here again from when I re-added it, which I agree would have been better placed in here. "please address criteria in Wikipedia:Notability (academics) and Wikipedia:Notability (books)". This may well be a notable subject, but I think that could be established a little more clearly and with appropriate references to back that up..
- Finally, I would encourage you to register and not use an anonymous IP for editing - Are you Jason Knirck? Or someone connected to him? Gil Gamesh (talk) 06:57, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Notability
I am re-attaching the notability tag. It has been removed twice by an anonymous editor Special:Contributions/68.186.91.185 who has only contributed to this article, except for vandalising the Thomas Wellock article, which s/he cited as a comparison for the notability of this article. Please see Wikipedia:Autobiography and Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. In my opinion notability of this subject rests on the notability of the two books that Jason Knirck is reported as having authored. See also the two notability guidelines I refer to above.
