Japser Dogs' are from a long and distinguished line of pure breeds. The most notable lines are the "Virginia Lab" and "Missippi Chow." Through decades of breeding the Virginia Ridge Back was born. It is effectionately known in the Tidewater Area as the Virginia Stink Back. The defining traits of this breed are the ridge extending from the neck to the tail and its spotted tongue. [1]

The popularity of Jasper Dogs is not a Joke! These animals tend to be the most loyal of breeds; thus, they have a very devoted following.
