Jason Stumbo

Dr. Jason Stumbo is the Director of Bands at the University of Toledo. Stumbo completed his undergraduate work at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he majored in music education and played alto saxophone. During these years, he was a member of the Pride of the Southland Band. He then taught in Tennessee public schools for several years before beginning graduate studies in music education. Stumbo entered the doctoral program at the University of Missouri in 1999 and completed his work there in 2004.
