Corporal Jason Durham was a member of the United States Marine Corps, who was killed in combat in Iraq on April 14, 2004.[1]
Durham was the second GI to be awarded the Medal of Honor for service in Iraq.[1] Durham citation says he chose to dive on top of a live grenade, saving the lives of his comrades at the cost of his own. Durham died of his wounds eight days after the attack.
