Jarvis Varnado

Jarvis Varnado (born March 1, 1988 in Brownsville, Tennessee) is a college basketball player for the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

Varnado is known as a defensive specialist and is especially adept at shot blocking aided by his 7'4" wingspan. He led the NCAA in blocks for the 07-08 season with 157 blocks. He was also named SEC Defensive Player of the Year.
