Jared Waerea-Hargreaves (born 20 January 1989) is an Australian rugby league player for the Manly Sea Eagles lower grades. Hargreaves was born in New Zealand but moved with his family to Australia at a young age. He represented Australia at the 2007 U/19 Rugby Union World Cup in Ireland and was a member of the NSW Waratahs Academy. Hargreaves played for Northern Suburbs lower grades before signing with the Manly Sea Eagles NRL club on a "substantial deal".

Hargreaves had attracted attention from NRL clubs during his stint in rugby due to his physical resemblance to Sonny Bill Williams. He said that he would like to remain in rugby and progress to Super 14 level.[1] However Hargeraves signed with Manly just 2 games into the 2007 ARC.[2]
