[edit] Hide/Show system
How about adding Hide/Show function for this template? Japanese one already have this function, and using this template without Hide/Show function makes the article look messy, I think. --Izumi5 08:30, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
- I would support this. I noticed it on the Japanese templates and think it is useful (and saves on screen space). Alex Sims 22:37, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

- I will bring this proposal to Wikipedia:WikiProject Trains in Japan. --Izumi5 10:11, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Examples?
We should have an example usage so people unfamiliar with it are able to easily know how to use it. ···日本穣? · Talk to Nihonjoe 17:26, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Font size
I changed it to 90% as 80% was just too small. ···日本穣? · Talk to Nihonjoe 02:42, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] doesn't work
Dispenser, what did you do to the code exactly? Because the template no longer works. You've made a couple mistakes here, but I don't know enough about how this code works to fix it. LeeWilson 17:44, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- I've changed the names of the parameter to match those used by the navigational templates and added easy editing ability to the template (v-d-e). Although, with the v-d-e I didn't put in a condition because I was going to mass edit all of those templates anyway which is now complete. If there are still problems list the template and I'll take a look. —Dispenser 18:58, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Propose switch to navbox
There's a general movement across Wikipedia right now to standardize navigational templates by using the {{navbox}} meta-template. I've taken a stab at converting this template to use it as well, here's my sandboxed version showing the current formatting followed by a navboxed version:

What does everyone think? Bryan Derksen 09:04, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
- I've converted the template to a bit better translation (the boxes are still on the header line). There will be some problems on template that use color=white for the headers instead of leaving it out. Thanks for posting on the discussion page before implement, unlike some editor :-). —Dispenser 18:44, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

- Heh. Nice approach to implementing those color swatches, I tried a variety of approaches but I wasn't experienced enough with CSS (and the tricky way it interacts with templates sometimes) to make something that close to the original. Bryan Derksen 19:08, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

- I'm thinking about switching to the standard title background color for this template, still with the line color as title border:

- Also, I'm wondering if we shouldn't allow the use of group/list 1, 2, 3… for this template as well as the
bodyparameter. That would be helpful for multi-section templates like {{Keio Line}}. –Fred Bradstadt (talk) 11:18, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
