According to my information the Akagi (or any of the Maya Class Gunboats) never carried 12.7cm (or 12.7 in) guns, let alone four of them.

According to Naval Institute Press the Akagi carried 4 x 4.7mm 40-Cal QF guns and 6 x 47mm Hotchkiss Guns. She also had a top speed of 12 not 10 knots and only carried 60 tons of coal on board.
