3 kg is not 1 1/3 pounds – it is 6.6 pounds. I don't know which one is correct, but they can't both be. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.161.26.227 (talk • contribs) 11:16, 30 January 2006 (UTC)
I'm confused, if I go into a sushi restaurant, does asking for a piece of yellow tail and a piece of hamachi mean the same exact thing?
- Generally speaking, yes. unless 20:50, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- "Hamachi" is Kansai dialect for "young buri (Seriola quinqueradiata)". In eastern Japan, "hamachi" is "inada". Bueller 007 13:29, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
