Japanese Gulch

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Japanese Gulch, in Mukilteo, Washington, is a known green space that is privately owned. With its rich historical significance[1] and intertwining trails it gives the surrounding area an astonishing beauty in the middle of urban development. Hikers, bicyclists, and nature lovers have enjoyed this treasure for over 30 years.

In late 2007 a development company bid on purchasing the property for developing an industrial park. This caused a small outcry from the community.[2] This also inspired a movement to save it from being developed.[3]
