Hello Janothird. You can view the agreement here and you can discuss it here. Basically, it was agreed that for ice hockey related articles, the most common spelling in English is to be used as the title of the article. The native spelling of a player is to be used once at the beginning of the article and every spelling thereafter in the article use the most common spelling in English. you can read the discussion and you are quite welcome to comment. But the reason we are using the most common spelling in English is because this is the English section of wikipedia and it makes sense to use the English spellings for players. The native spellings can be used in their native language wikipedia, not the English language section of wikipedia. Many wikipedians claim the English spelling is "wrong", but that is not the case; it is simply the English spelling, not the wrong spelling. Masterhatch 08:03, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
