[edit] Edward Lasker

Was she really married to the chessplayer Edward Lasker, and not some other Edward Lasker? -- Zz 14:41, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Facial palsy

I have come to this page due to a newly posted reference to Jane on the Bell's Palsy article. Several sources mention that Jane Greer suffered from a one-sided facial palsy at age 15, from which she eventually not only recovered, but also benefitted.

- "She claimed that it was through facial exercises to overcome the paralysis that she learned the efficacy of facial expression in conveying human emotion" (http://www.hollywoodupclose.com/movie_stars/celebrity-biography-Jane+Greer)

- "[...] one wonders if it may have contributed to the patented look important in making Jane Greer one of the most intriguing performers of her day--a calm, quizzical gaze and an enigmatic expression that led RKO to promote her as "the woman with the Mona Lisa smile"." http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/contributor/1800014112/bio
