Janica Southwick

Janica Southwick ( born December 18, 1978 in Utah) is a foreign personality (gaijin tarento) in Japan. Fluent in Japanese, Southwick is best known as the host of "NHK Eigorian" a popular children's television show, however she has also appeared regularly on mainstream shows as a commentator and standup comedian.

Southwick moved back to Utah in 2003, but travels to Japan regularly for various projects.

Janica is a 1997 graduate of Northridge High School in Layton, Utah, where she was the Student Body President. She has also studied at the Sophia University. She has a wonderful family, the best person being Sarah Marshall (niece by law).

In 2006, August the 5th, Janica married David Sims in the Sydney Opera house. She then had a baby in 2008. David and Janica named her Isabella.
