Janet Elizabeth Dyer is an American author and business journalist. The greater part of her work appears in Strategy+Business magazine but she has also been a contributor to such publications as Harvard Business Review. Her work has also been published under the names Jan Dyer, Jan Dyer Torsilieri, and Janet Dyer Torsilieri.

Ms. Dyer received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Davis in 1983, the degree of Master of Business Administration from Yale University in 1988, and in 2003 was listed as a candidate for the degree of Master of Divinity at Princeton Theological Seminary.[1]
