Janet Bond Arterton

Janet Bond Arterton (b. 1944, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is a Federal Judge for the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. She has served on the court from 1995 to the present. Judge Arterton was nominated to the court by President Bill Clinton on January 23, 1995, to a seat vacated by Jose A. Cabranes, confirmed by the Senate on March 24, 1995, and received her commission on March 24, 1995.

She received a B.A. from Mount Holyoke College in 1966 and J.D. from the Northeastern University School of Law in 1977.
