Jan Tauer (born August 26, 1983 in Düsseldorf) is a German football defender, currently part of the Djurgårdens IF squad.
He joined the club from Eintracht Braunschweig at the start of the 2007 season[1], and made his Allsvenskan debut for Djurgården against IF Brommapojkarna. He scored his first goal for Djurgården against IFK Göteborg when IFK-midfielder Niclas Alexandersson tried to clear the ball and hit Tauer in the back, which made the ball to bounce into the goal.[2]
