Jan Mühlstein

Jan Mühlstein (born 1949) is a Jewish German politician who was born in Most, Czechoslovakia. He is a leader of the Union of Progressive Jews in Germany.

Mühlstein works as a business journalist in Munich. He is a founding member of the Liberal Jewish Community Munich "Beth Shalom" and was its chairperson until 2005.

Mühlstein committed himself to promote religious plurality in Judaism.
