Jan Dix is a German musician.
He became known to a larger audience in 1983, when he became the drummer of the German rock group BAP. Before that he played in the Food Band, which separated shortly before he joined BAP.
A conflict arose between Jan Dix and the rest of the band during the recording of the album Ahl Männer, aalglatt (literally: "Old, slimey men"). Because of this conflict he left the band before the tour in 1986. His replacement was the British drummer Pete King.
