Franciszek Starowieyski (pseudonym Jan Byk) (born 1930) is a Polish painter, graphic artists, and scenographer. His work is characterised by its richly ornamental brush-strokes, and his favourite motifs are the passing of time, death, and the horizons of civilisation.
