Jan-Axel Alavaara (born March 14, 1975, in Kiruna, Sweden), is a professional Swedish ice hockey player. He is currently a defenseman with the Kloten Flyers of the NLA.
Before joining Kloten, Alavaara spent six seasons with the Frölunda Indians of the Swedish Elite League.
