"Fair use in" rationale: this is a low resolution, reduced photo of an illustration from a book long out of print, solely for use in aiding the discussion of illustration in children's literature and of Jane Frank's career and style in the context of Wikipedia in articles "Jane Frank" and "Children's literature". This book is long out of print; and no images from it were available on the internet (so I couldn't just provide a link). The image itself is reduced, cropped, and low-resolution, and the caption has not not included. It is clearly relevant to both articles in which it is used. For example, before I added this image, the children's lit article included not even one single image of an illustration from a children's book, though illustration is a central feature of children's books. The image's relevance to the Jane Frank article is, I would hope, not in need of explanation. The use of this image in these two articles, from a book long out of print, whose author and illustrator are both long dead, cannot possibly damage the prospects for future sale of this book or of the art in it; the effect, if any, should be quite the reverse.
