The children's author and illustrator, Jan Brett, at a St. Cloud, Minnesota, booksigning on 8 November 2003. I have slightly edited the photo to remove my daughter who was just to Ms. Brett's left and to connect the white panels behind her head (they had a big, ugly gap between them). The illustration in the background is from her book, "On Noah's Ark". She is signing "Jan Brett's Christmas Treasury".

This is a retouched picture, which means that it has been digitally altered from its original version. Modifications: connected white panels behind subject; removed non-subject person from right side of photo.
