[edit] Petaluma
Hi James! Thanks for contributing so much to the Petaluma article.
Can you tell me where you found the history of the town name? You wrote:
- Petaluma got its name from the Miwok tribe called "Petalumas", who lived just north of the present town.
However, I could not find any reference to this fact in any literature about the city, so I removed it from the article for the time being. Please feel free to add it again, but make sure to cite your source.
Thanks! — Ke6jjj 07:49, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
