[edit] Early years

Gleig was born in Fazakerley hospital at 2325 on April 10, 1993. He was brought up in Worthing Street, Waterloo. He then moved to Northampton aged 2 when his mother found a better work opportunity. He attended two nurserys prior to attending St. Matthews private pre-school. His mother and father parted when he was 3 and a half. Gleig remained in Northampton until 1998, when this time, he moved again when his mother found yet another work opportunity on the Isle of Man, sparking his interest in the Manx shipping scene, aged five.

Driving up to Heysham with his stepfather, the first vessel he travelled on was the Ben-my-Chree [6], on the afternoon sailing to Douglas.

[edit] The Isle of Man

Gleig's new home was in Doves Croft, in the Governor's Hill region of Douglas. He attended Cronk-y-Berry Primary School, starting in 1998. He was fairly popular with the pupils in the school. On the island, he regularly visited his father on the mainland, mostly on the Steam Packet Company's SeaCat Isle of Man, and sometimes with Manx Airlines.

His interest in the company was further consolidated when travelling to Liverpool with his father aboard the fastcraft SuperSeaCat Three, with his father purchasing a bath-going "SeaCat", "SuperSeaCat" and an "SR-N4" hovercraft.

Gleig remained on the Isle of Man until 2000, moving off the island when his mother moved to marry, aboard the SeaCat Isle of Man.

[edit] Latter stages of childhood

Gleig moved to Cardiff in Wales, and remained there until 2005, when he moved back to Liverpool to live with his father.

[edit] Liverpool

Now living in Anfield, Gleig changed his name to his current surname and delved into the Steam Packet's history, becoming an avid enthusiast in a matter of days. He entered yet another school, and intends for this to be his final place of education.

Taking work experience with the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company, it has been told that he would make a good employee, and he intends to begin work with them as soon as he has finished his education.

[edit] Personal life

Gleig is currently in a relationship with Manx-born Meghan Murdoch (b. 1994, Isle of Man). He visits her as often as he can.

He is a big Liverpool fan, his favourite player being the highly-acclaimed striker Fernando Torres.

He lives with his father, and has 3 sisters and a brother.

[edit] Hobbies and Interests
