Talk:Jamie Kennedy

Are the guy on the WB and the grandson of Hubbard really the same guy?--STLEric 06:06, 18 Feb 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Father & Mother
The opening paragraph states that he's the son of Connie Chung and Maury Povich. Yet he was born in 1970, and Chung & Povich have only been married since 1984. His full name is also listed as Jaimie Harvey Kennedy, implying that that is his birth name. Does anyone have confirmation of this statement?
[edit] Jamie Kennedy NOT Grandson of L. Ron Hubbard
Jamie Kennedy shares the name of L. Ron Hubbard's great-grandson, but is not the same guy, and this is a misnomer. The OTHER Jamie Kennedy is a spoken word performer, who has shared his personal beliefs on L.Ron and his cultish religion in his performances. The Jamie Kennedy mentioned on this page, ironically, often performs his stand-up comedy at the Church of Scientology Celebrity Center, which may or may not imply that he is a Scientologist, himself.
[edit] Jamie Kennedy Poet
I removed the part refering to the church of scientology and started a new page regarding Jamie Kennedy the poet to which that event is accually attributed.
[edit] blowin up
somebody should add something about his show blowing up
[edit] Ellen Rapaport
Was she a ghostwriter or, as it says a few paragraphs down, a coauthor? Perhaps someone who knows more about Kennedy could set it straight (and reorganize/clean up the article as a whole). Colin 21:21, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Stub-Class?
Has anyone read the article? This seems start-class worthy at least, definitely not stub. Rockstar (T/C) 05:22, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Malibu's Most Wanted
This article claims that Malibu's Most Wanted was a big success, but the page for the movie doesn't offer any proof that it was ever #1 at the box office or that it even grossed more than it cost to make (and the cost is not listed either). You'd almost think Jamie Kennedy wrote both pages himself. 68.229.184.37 20:00, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
