I cut this from the article: "He performed on the first recording session with blues singer Bessie Smith." Yes, according to Clarence Williams and Sidney Bechet, they made a never issued recording session for Okeh Records. No copies of any test pressings are known to exist, alas. I'm not sure we should mention this in the article unless we wish to give enough details to explain why this recording isn't on any of the reissues of Smith's recordings. -- Infrogmation 11:14, 24 Mar 2004 (UTC)
