[edit] Redirection
There is an actor named James Aubrey for whom I have created a seperate wiki page under the heading "James Aubrey (Actor)". This was because all the links to James Aubrey which refered to the actor were mistakenly redirected here instead. Suggest the "(Actor)" tag be removed from James Aubrey article and that this article be specifically named "James T.Aubrey, Jr"
[edit] Comments
From the article: "His outsize reputation--beaming smile, dapper dress, endless womanizing--inspired no less than three novelists to model characters after him: Keefe Brasselle, Harold Pinter, and Jacqueline Susann. (Aubrey is network executive Robin Stone in Susann's The Love Machine.)"
I've heard a rumor that he was also the inspiration for the comic book character Morgan Edge (who appeared in Superman comics in the 70's and 80's as the owner of GBS) created by the legendary Jack Kirby. I can't verify it so I thought I'd put it here instead of in the article.

- Never heard this story. If you could give me a citation for this, either printed or on-line, I'd like to add it. PedanticallySpeaking 20:33, Mar 29, 2005 (UTC)

- Here's a site that mentions it http://supermanthrutheages.com/dcmb/seventies/?part=21, and it attributes it to THE JACK KIRBY COLLECTOR #32.
-
- Here's another site that mentions it, but it doesn't document it http://comics.ign.com/articles/595/595577p4.html

- Also, Clark refers to Edge as "The Smiling Cobra" (Aubrey's nickname) on the first page of the second story for Action Comics #477. This nickname may be used for Edge in other stories as well.--198.93.113.49 14:34, 23 Jun 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Mildred Stever and Stever Aubrey
Can we get confirmation that these aren't typos? Googling both these names does give hits, but the Google hits don't seem to be the same people as the relatives of James Aubrey. Perhaps a genealogical site can clarify? -- Curps 19:26, 16 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Incorrect dates
I don't have the time, but someone changed dates around in the MGM section. Someone who does have time might want to have a look.
[edit] Title
I think we should remove the comma from the title of the article.Toonmon2005 16:31, 9 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Picture
This is a good article, but it would be perfect with a picture of James T Aubrey Jr himself. Unfortunately, I don't have any. Anyone care to contribute? --84.188.140.40 11:04, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Abc57.jpg
Image:Abc57.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 17:05, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
