I placed this information here, since someone had inserted it into the article james and Lily Potter from the Harry Potter books. It has no relevance to that article, except for the name coincidence. It appears to be an historical character with possible noteability for an article, but I have no further information. Anyone? Sandpiper 13:08, 5 December 2005 (UTC)

It's bad enough that we may want to move this article to James Potter (soldier) and make James Potter a redirect to James and Lily Potter. —Cuiviénen 18:30, 4 October 2006 (UTC)

I like Cuivienen's idea, or something like it. In the meantime, I have fixed some of the misdirected links for James Potter (Harry's dad, that is). I think I'll adopt this as something I will keep my eye on. Fieryrogue 21:42, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

A year later, we're still getting links from Harry Potter articles. I support moving this page to James Potter (Pennsylvania), if someone wants to do it. —Kevin Myers 02:35, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
